turns out i'm really lazy and not so good at this blog thing.
colorado: amazing.
iowa: not so much.
iowa city is a tiny tiny tiny place... and there's nothing to do!!! me and another recruit went to the mall on saturday at 6pm and all but 2 stores were closed for the night. SATURDAY. at 6PM. ridiculous! everyone was telling me it would all be fields and a bunch of nothing... and they were completely right. the science was awesome though. really cool stuff everywhere, and famous people and all of that. so iowa would be a really good opportunity for me, but... me and dan would have nothing to do on the weekends. for 5 years. which is kind of a long time to be bored.
so,
i vote colorado, but i'd be ok with iowa too.
i'm still waiting to hear back from both programs though - i'm starting to get nervous. i mean, this is going to decide where i live for the next 5 years. it's kind of a big deal.
good news:
no matter where we go, dan is going to get to work from home for iboats! YAY!!!!
he works very hard and iboats loves him, and it's all worked out very nicely for us.
i don't really have anything else going on right now,
i basically check my email 20 times a day (literally) and check the mail everyday because i'm getting SO ANXIOUS. i reeeeally just want to know whether or not i'm getting into a school.
